Getting to the U.S. Embassy - by Bus

• Time: 2.5 hours total

1. From San Francisco de Dos Rios (or wherever), take the bus to downtown San Jose (195c).
2. The buses to the Pavas area, where the embassy is located, are at the Coca Cola Bus station. From "La Caja" (where the SF2RIOS buses probably drop you off), walk 3 blocks N, 11.5 blocks W.
3. Get the bus that says LOMAS : Canal7 : U.S. Embajada (230c).
4. You'll pass La Sabana (a huge wooded park). Keep an eye out on toward the right, as you'll pass the U.S. Embassy. Get off at the next stop after you see the embassy.
5. Total time required to get there (with no hangups) - about 1 hour.
